Join CESMII CEO John Dyck as he discusses the Strategic Imperative and Impact of Manufacturing Data Foundations: Enabling Interoperability, AI, and Industrial Competitiveness.

Artificial intelligence is moving out of pilot projects and into production environments across the manufacturing enterprise. Whether it holds at scale depends on the infrastructure underneath it: shared terminology, data that transfers between systems, methods for measuring model performance, and criteria for validating AI behavior when safety and quality are at stake. Those are standards questions, and most of them are still open.

The second AI in Manufacturing Systems Workshop examines where AI is being deployed on the factory floor today and which consensus standards must exist for that deployment to be reliable, interoperable, and trusted. The program is vendor-neutral. Sessions address data interoperability and reference architectures, performance metrics and benchmarking, data quality and model standards, safety and cybersecurity, system integration, human-AI teaming, AI-driven quality and predictive maintenance, and governance and trustworthiness, with a sector spotlight that examines one production environment in depth.
