Last year, the network worked with over 3,100 member organizations, including more than 1,500 mostly small manufacturers, on more than 800 high-priority applied research and development technology projects, enrolled more than 200,000 participants in advanced manufacturing workforce development programs and training, and generated investments of more than $527 million in these activities from state, federal, and industry funds. While each institute is established by a sponsoring federal agency and has a unique advanced manufacturing technology focus and identity, they also seek to advance the bigger Manufacturing USA network mission to improve American manufacturing’s global competitiveness.
When referring to the group of institutes that form the Manufacturing USA network, the following formulations are acceptable:

To indicate institute affiliation, examples include:
