Tambre's career pathway has been a series of ambitious new challenges.

Her initial interest in manufacturing dates to a seventh-grade field trip to NASA in Houston, TX…

… where she was captivated by the thought of heavy machinery flying through the air with pinpoint precision.

Tambre followed this interest in Engineering, leading to increased skills in many areas ...

… such as Problem Solving, Collaboration, and Resilience.

Tambre turned that interest into Engineering Studies...

… and gained proficiency in Quality Control, Foundational Technical Concepts, and System Development and Activities.

Tambre enjoys non-engineering challenges too, and playing flute was Tambre's first passion in life.

Even though Tambre didn't make music her career, it helped her build skills in Creativity, Collaboration, and in building the willingness to try difficult things.

These skills made Tambre a great fit for her next position: Systems Engineer.

In that role, Tambre not only succeeded but also leveled up even more skills in Research and Development, Process Design, and Implementation.

All these skills together have helped Tambre take on impressive responsibilities as an Associate Technical Fellow at Lockheed Martin.

Providing thought leadership in important areas like Cybersecurity Engineering and Supply Chain Risk Management, Tambre is an inspiring Modern Maker.

The Collaboration skills Tambre has built through Music and Engineering are especially relevant to her role today, and she counts Mentoring as a passion of hers.

"We can accomplish great things when many work as one," Tambre says.
"It takes a diversity of thought and backgrounds to accomplish complex goals, which means that being collaborative is a crucial ingredient for success."
