LIFT, the Detroit-based, Department of Defense-supported national manufacturing innovation institute, today announced that EOS has signed a multi-year member agreement to join the institute as a Gold Level member to support ongoing education and innovation initiatives. EOS is the world’s leading technology provider for additive manufacturing solutions with metals and plastics through 3D printers, materials and software.
Part of the agreement included LIFT’s purchase of EOS’ stalwart EOS M 290 industrial metal 3D printer – the benchmark metal additive manufacturing (AM) system for many industries, including aerospace, spacetech, medical and several others.
