Do you work with process technicians and/or operators in the Fine or Specialty Chemical Industry, Pharmaceutical Industry, or Biopharmaceutical Industry? As part of an award from the U.S. Department of Commerce’s National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to respond to the lingering effects of COVID-19 and to prepare for a potential future coronavirus pandemic, AIChE/RAPID aims to develop a virtual technician and operator training program for the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, fine chemical and specialty chemical industries. This effort will be a 2-year project, beginning with a three road mapping workshop to identify existing programs and best practices. Read more
The first workshop on October 11th will:
- Bring together stakeholders in technician and operator training
- Explore existing programs and best practices used by industry and other stakeholders to train technicians and operators.
