FlexFactor is an outreach, engagement and STEM education program to familiarize K-12 students with advanced manufacturing technology and STEM career pathways. Through a trained local program manager, K-12 students work in project teams to identify real world problems, conceptualize advanced hardware solutions, and build business models around these solutions. Students may also engage in an industry tour, a college tour, and mentored STEM workshops. The program culminates with students pitching their ideas either in a competition-style or showcase event to a panel of industry and community mentors.
