NextFlex News – January 2026

Electronics

Dear friends and colleagues,

I hope you had a fantastic holiday season and are ready to see what 2026 has to offer. At NextFlex, we are moving ahead at full speed with new initiatives, innovative projects, and even a revamped Innovation Days.

First, I am excited to announce that we will be launching a NextFlex podcast called “Electronics at the Edge.” Our new podcast series will spotlight the breakthroughs, collaborations, and real-world impact driving next-generation electronics innovation. Designed for industry leaders, innovators, educators, and anyone curious about the future of electronics, the podcast will feature candid conversations with NextFlex experts and partners across industry, government, and academia, unpacking how hybrid electronics are shaping applications from aerospace to automotive, and from R&D to scaled manufacturing.

Our illustrious podcast host is Stan Farnsworth, NextFlex Director of Business Development. Stan is a fantastic interviewer, bringing knowledge, insight, and excitement to the podcast. I had the pleasure of serving as the guest for the debut episode, “At the Edge of Innovation: What Are Hybrid Electronics?” The episode introduces the fundamentals of hybrid electronics, what sets them apart from traditional systems, and why they are critical to future technologies. Stan and I had an exciting discussion in the episode, and I hope you consider listening when it is released on February 3. Our first season will consist of 4 episodes that will be released biweekly over the course of the following 8 weeks.

Second, I want to mention that we are announcing a partnership with TechBlick, a leading organizer of printed and hybrid electronics technical conferences. Together, we will co-host Innovation Days 2026 at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View. The content plan will be like that of past years, with high-profile keynotes from DoD, Industry, and EWD, along with technical presentations, member-only sessions, and networking. TechBlick has welcomed us to join them to strengthen the combined event for the benefit of the community.

I encourage you to take part in this newly envisioned Innovation Days event and register for the TechBlick conference to benefit from comprehensive technical presentations and exhibits. Registration will open soon, so stay tuned for more information.

I hope your 2026 is off to a great start, and I look forward to connecting with you in the coming months.

Sincerely,

Dan Gamota
