Please join The Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory on October 4th for its Manufacturing Day Webinar in honor of National Manufacturing Day.
The HPC4EnergyInnovation (HPC4EI) Program pairs national laboratory scientists with partners in industry to apply high performance computing technology and improve energy utilization in the manufacturing sector.
Currently, there are 84 projects running at nine laboratories addressing problems in a wide variety of industries including metal smelting, additive manufacturing, alloy design, transportation, pulp and paper production, and paint application.
Webinar topics will include:
- Overview of the program and its impact on a wide array of industries, national laboratories, and computational techniques.
- Presentations by PIs on the progress of specific projects detailing how they are helping manufacturing partners improve their processes and products.
