AIM Photonics Members Celebrate 5 Years of Success, Highlight Importance of Integrated Photonics

Photonics

In celebration of AIM Photonics 5 year anniversary and the technical achievements, AIM Photonics presents a look into the institute and Integrated Photonics. Members detail the benefits of this technology, some who are now working to battle the Coronavirus disease COVID-19 with research developed at AIM Photonics. Footage in the video is from AIM Photonics Test, Assembly, and Packaging (TAP) Facility in Rochester, NY. It is the world’s first-ever open-access 300mm Photonic Packaging Research Center.

AIM Photonics thanks all its members and partners who have contributed to the success of this institute and advanced the technology.  We are proud to be part of the current research efforts to improve testing for COVID-19, as well as advancing integrated photonics technology to improve many other parts of our lives in the future.

The video was produced by Laurence Fishburne’s Information Matrix, and will air on local and national networks throughout the end of May 2020.
